mknaidu11 Posted June 2, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dear All, I have Sandisk memory card of 32 GB, using it in Leica ME. Purchased on 24th April from Salam Stores Dubai. 1st lot of pictures had no problem. However from second lot onwards I am unable to see some of the photos. After downloading and before re-using it I had formatted the card in the camera. The card is genuine and had been communicating with Sandisk support team. If required I can enclose mail exchange with them. As adviced by Sandisk support I formatted the card, however the 2nd lot of photos from Camera is again having the same problem. Some of the photos cannot be seen. This problem, I did not face with 8 GB Sony memory card, used in Leica ME. Is sandisk having inherent quality problem???? What is your experience. Experts can highlight this issue and probably a solution to the problem. Thanks in advance. mknaidu11

lct Posted June 2, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 2, 2014 My Sandisk cards have no problem so far and Sandisk has a good reputation. I would try to recover the files with Photorescue or same in the first place. Then i would try to format the card with SD Formatter and to format it again in the camera. tobey bilek Posted June 21, 2014 Share #3 Posted June 21, 2014 Are they going into a different folder on the card ? OPen the card card on the computer and check the folder(s) structure. Do not shut the camera off until the blinking light is off indicating the file is written to the card. Set auto off to long enough so you do not stop the process. I never use protect function. Perhaps you have it turned on. Most likely it is a setting you have made probably unconsciously or the camera is defective. I doubt it is the card.
