Leica T and silver M lens.

I know this has zero to do with image quality, but I have one silver M lens (50mm Summilux) and have been fiddling with it on the T. IMHO, the silver lens and aluminum T are a beautiful couple. I have thought about selling this lens, but it may spend a good deal of time on the T.

No, it won't take better photographs than a black lens. But it does look fantastic. Makes me wish they had put out silver T lenses. Or maybe they're just waiting to put those out so those of us that bought silver bodies can upgrade to silver lenses later... :D

Now add the black T-Snap, and maybe the black wrist strap, and admire the remarkable combination of art and design. :D

When I visited the Leica shop earlier this month, they attached their silver 50mm-lux demo to the T and handed it to me to examine...and I have to admit that I didn't want to give it back!

Looks gorgeous. Pity here is no silver m adaptor ....

How are the pictures with the 50mm Summilux (any links to your pics)

Thanks

The 50 Summilux does well, though focusing consistently is taking some practice.

I have a T with a summilux 50mm that is firmware 1.1: does your T read the aperture setting of your lens? Mine displays f0.0

Just had a peek at the EXIF on your images, and the aperture is listed as f0 :(

All of my M lenses are being read as f/0. I understand that there is no f/stop approximation like there is on the M (240), but since the adapter is reading the 6 bit codes, it could at least report all the lens detail that is reportable.
