Card is not readable

I thought this issue was only with the M9, so I was surprised this morning to get this message with a card I have just used last night and didn't download the images yet.

The card is a Transcend SDHC 16 GB Class 10 that I have used previously with the M9 and now with the M240.

Removing the card and battery didn't help. The PC is not able to read the card neither.

This looks very similar to two cases of Sandisk cards that were destroyed by my M9 hence the switch to Transcend.

I will try to look into the faulty card later on, but now I have tried another similar card and it is working, but I am a bit worried especially that I'm travelling on holidays next month to South of France and would not like to loose my holiday photos due to a similar occurrence.

Are there any known issues with M240 and cards that I might have overlooked?

Thank you Pico! My cards are all authentic and have been verified at the manufacturer's website.

This issue turned out to be one of those infamous "Leica Hiccups"®.

My computer recognized the card, and I downloaded the photos. The camera still wouldn't read the card, and wouldn't format it, so I did a quick format in the PC, and now it is recognized by the camera and all is well.

Strange but well, nothing serious.
