Aperture UK

Aperture UK is well known and respected here. I've dealt with them on a number of occasions trading photographic equipment and they've been entirely honest and reliable. I've never tried their developing and repair service although, personally, I wouldn't hesitate in trying them should the need arise.

(For full disclosure I have no connection with, or interest in, Aperture UK other than as a customer.)

Pete.

+1

I've been using them for about 14 years, when they just had the Museum St shop, and have bought and sold lots and lots of stuff through them.

They are very reliable and trustworthy, and I highly recommend them. Like Pete, I have no connection with, or financial interest in, the store.

Hi came across this site and shop whilst trying to find a Leica M7 Aperture UK they also do on site developing and repair service anyone used them thanks Dave.

Over the past 8 years I've bought almost all my Leica and Nikon gear from them, as well as a few medium format cameras. They tend to have pretty competitive prices and are accurate in reporting the condition of gear. They offer a 6 month warranty which I've used a couple of times without any problems.

I've had their repairer fix a couple of items and he's very good.

I also get my film developed and scanned there and it's a good service for a good price.

What is their scanning resolution, last time I asked direct they couldn't tell me.

  • 3 years later...

Another satisfied customer. I sent in my Leica 19 R (V1) lens to Aperture UK to sort out jammed aperture and gritty focusing. Got it back  in full order.

The service/repair was done same day. Transit took more time than repair.

Highly recommended.
