miatadan Posted May 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 14, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Fuji X-A1 with 16-50mm kit lens is now on sale in Canada for only $349.95 CAN dollars until May31/2014. The least expensive way to have digital body to use M lenses. btw this model does not use X-Trans sensor and may be better for raw files in lightroom. This is less than the tax on a Leica M lens )))) Fuji M mount adaptor is $199 If I consider using this on Leica Summarit 35mm f/2.5, I can save up for M-E or M and give Fuji to my daughter in future. miatadan Posted May 16, 2014 Author Share #2 Posted May 16, 2014 Guessing with no reply's here, no one feels this is good option to use M lenses? Any one try Fuji X-A1 or X-M1 with the Summarit 35mm f/2? Dan
lct Posted May 25, 2014 Share #3 Posted May 25, 2014 Sorry no but the Summarit 35 is one of my favorites on the X-E2. It is small, light, plenty sharp and its focus tab and short focus throw help catching the decisive moment. As far as IQ is concerned, the X-M1 looks more appealing than the X-A1 due to its lack of AA filter. I have no experience with either camera though.
