I have a leica me about a year ago, a friend recently pointed out to me a lot of spots on the photos as if they were dust, this happens especially when pointing to the sky and shooting with aperture f16 (I have a 50mm Summicron)

you think it is the lens or the sensor dirty?:confused:

That's almost certainly a dirty sensor.

Your local dealer can clean it for you, or you can learn to do it yourself. There's a lot of advice on the subject on this forum. Just use the Search function.

I don't think there's a digital M in the world that hasn't had a dirty sensor. They're especially bad when new. You need to learn how to clean it - there's plenty of info on how to do this on this site and others. You'll find, if you clean it once a month, that eventually (unless you live in windy, dusty conditions and change lenses often) the dust will become less frequent. After 2 years with an M9, I only need to clean my sensor once every 4-5 months.
