Using a car analogy, you could argue that the Vauxhall/Opel insignia is as good as the BMW 5 series, except for the badge, at half the cost. However purists will go on about the minutiae of engine stats or handling differences. Whatever, the 5 series sells well, so the armchair CEOs know nuffin'  It's the same here. Leica needs to deliver its two key extras. Beautiful design and handling and an exceptional lens. If so it's job done.  Leica doesn't expect to pick up the mass market as we have been over many times before. I am excitingly waiting for Sean's review before having any opinion.  I think it is more useful to want something good than something new. Like the X-Vario. It was (and is) mindlessly bashed for its specs and turned out to be a superb camera in the results it produces in expert hands
