Manicouagan1 Posted April 23, 2014 Share #1 Posted April 23, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sometimes when I use the Multifunctional Grip for my M240 with GPS turned on I get incorrect timestamps on images. Sometimes the image timestamps seem to give GMT, other times the correct time for the current time zone and sometimes something else. Is this a "feature"of the multifunctional grip GPS function? John McMaster Posted April 23, 2014 Share #4 Posted April 23, 2014 I have given up using mine, as well as time issues it never seems to lock on to a GPS link in NZ (linked issue) and the handling is not improved for most lenses. john
marknorton Posted April 24, 2014 Share #5 Posted April 24, 2014 I agree, the grip was not worth the extended wait or the cost, unlike the R to M adapter. This year, I have been using R lenses more than M lenses.
swamiji Posted April 24, 2014 Share #6 Posted April 24, 2014 Assuming that Leica will correct some of these issues... How? How much of the code is in the Grip? Can they just issue a firmware update to the camera? Or do they need to recall and redesign?

Much as I adore Leica, I do sometimes wonder why I stick with digital Ms.
