amazingtransplant Posted April 22, 2014 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I had the sensor replaced on my M9 about a year ago, since then its seems to be working fine. Always thought it had a higher than average occurrence of moire, but other than that its been working well. Was trying out some long exposures (why why?) Maxed out the shutter at 240s and all the files are coming in terribly banded. Would this be an indication of the sensor going belly up again? For this shot: 35mm summilux ASPH, timer-bulb, f16, auto review is off, advance is standard. SD card is a sandisk extreme cl10 32GB, never had problems with this card. Tried several cards and they gave the same result... Day shots are OK btw. Any thoughts/similar experience on this? I hate it if I were have to send it back to Solms again, but ah well... Thanks in advance. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! jaapv Posted April 23, 2014 Share #2 Posted April 23, 2014 Underexposed shots can show banding on just about any digital camera.
250swb Posted April 23, 2014 Share #3 Posted April 23, 2014 I think under exposure as well, try opening the aperture up. Steve
Malvolio Posted April 23, 2014 Share #4 Posted April 23, 2014 I sympathize with the OP. I had issues with particular branded cards banding. Perhaps try an older slower Lexar or Sandisk (4gb) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
