pramanan Posted April 26, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) The characteristic hunting of Pied Kingfisher is, it hovers above a water body like helicaptor and position itself inflight left or right and pin point its quarry, when the fish coming up within the stiking depth,hurls itself wings pulled in at the sides dives towards the fish.This hunting sequence I have recorded using V LUX-1 more than 15 frames.As individual flight does not reveal the hunting sequences I have used missed and empty blue sky to make a composite image.
