ironringer Posted March 21, 2014 Share #1 Posted March 21, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Could the enthusiasts please confirm that the chrome lens hood shown is the #12505 FOOKH? Since it clamps on the A36 size rim of a LTM 5 cm Elmar lens, I assume the only "shortcoming" is that its hood is shorter (designed for wide angle 3.5 cm lenses) than optimum for a 5 cm Elmar. Did Leica make a cap for this hood? Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! UliWer Posted March 21, 2014 Share #2 Posted March 21, 2014 Yes, it's a proper FOOKH. As far as I know, there was no special cap for it, but you can use any cap which fits on a lens with 39mm filter-thread, e.g for the Summicron or the later version of the 50mm Elmar
payasam Posted March 26, 2014 Share #3 Posted March 26, 2014 Almost thirty years ago I got mine with the original Bakelite cap which fit inside the FOOKH or over the lens.
