John Z. Goriup Posted February 25, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 25, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Saw this magnificently restored but highly authentic and fast '57 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France Coupe ( yes, the full, official model designation ) in the pits during one of the vintage race weekends at Laguna Seca raceway - near Monterey - in '2013. It was lunch hour, the car had been fueled and fully prepared for its qualifying heat in the early afternoon, presenting a delightful and rare opportunity to walk around unhindered, marvel at the exquisite lines, study the details, and shoot away to my heart's content. Advertisement Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Hi John Z. Goriup, Take a look here Ferrari TdF Coupe. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted February 25, 2014 Share #2 Posted February 25, 2014 The 250 TDF was and is a gorgeous car and your wonderful photos do it justice. One of the 48th scale model cars near my computer is a TDF. Others are in 18th and 12 scale. This TDF looks too close to concours to be in the races.
