A miller Posted February 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am sharing some shots from the howling snow blizzard that tore through New York City this morning. The winds were intense and the snow flakes felt more like pellets from a BB gun. IMHO, this was by far the most intense blizzard of the year. Lee Martin Posted February 14, 2014 Share #3 Posted February 14, 2014 Really good, you get a real feeling of the atmosphere and temperatures. I'd be tempted to crop off the third of the person on the right hand side of the last one as it leads my attention out of the frame a bit but really like the series
janlu Posted February 14, 2014 Share #4 Posted February 14, 2014 we really can get the feelings in that snow storm ..... i like the scenes you captured . About composition my fav is the last one , all the elements of the frame come together aesthetically well and with good rhythm ... very well seen , Adam , i really like that shot !!! Best, Gianluca
alun Posted February 14, 2014 Share #5 Posted February 14, 2014 I very much like #2 -- good interaction, expressions and the motion-blurring of the snow to add drama. That to me is great snow picture. You are to be commended for your tenacity in photographing in such atrocious weather!
A miller Posted February 14, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted February 14, 2014 Many many thanks, George, Lee, Gianluca and Alun. Highly appreciated! Lee - I see your point and agree 100%. I will crop out that bit of the right side straight away!
