Screw mount adapters

The lens couples with the rangefinder cam, not the adaptor. As long as the LTM lens you're fitting is rangefinder coupled it will work.

I've used various types, Leica, Voigtlander and unknown - they all worked fine.

The issue with some is the cutout flange (for lenses with an infinity lock) which cause issues with the reader on the digital M's, and some adaptors (without cutouts) can be coded.

The Voigtlander adapters are good.

If your lens has an infinity lock you will need the one with the coutout edge.

All you need to do is turn lens detection off in the menu or the camera will report no lens attached.

If it has no infinity lock get the one without the cutout and you won't have to remember to turn the lens detection off. You can also set the lens type in the menu as the little window that detects the lens will be covered.

I think I got all that right..............

I have a fotodiox one on the 25mm skopar I picked up - it doesn't lock into place properly in the camera mount, and has thrown the rangefinder's alignment out.

My voigtlander ring for the 75mm heliar has been nothing but amazing.

It's not possible for an adaptor to affect the rangefinder alignment unless it's way too thick perhaps but that's very unlikely. You realise the screw mount 25mm isn't rangefinder coupled I take it?

You can also use the same Voigtlander adaptor on the 25 as it doesn't matter which frame lines it triggers.
