Hello, thank you for that.. yes I had to put something on there about 0 feedback buyers... I would like to put an ad on here, but have that Ebay item listed... I will have to wait 5 days right? to list it on here... in case I sell the darling thing on Ebay! I will indeed put it on here though straight away if it doesn't sell. (I just wanted to show you that mine was a real ad...)....

I'm not trying to discourage you, but you're a Leica owner and therefore should know how to photograph an object.

1) Your photos of your camera are far too underexposed and dark, obscuring detail.

2) You do not come in close enough for the buyer to see the real condition of the camera. You don't need all that background, zoom in on the camera.

3) You can do a "Buy it Now, Immediate Payment Required" at a fixed price and then you don't have to worry about non-payers.

4) You omit some very important details, such as number of shutter actuations and time of remaining warranty, if any.

Photos of the item are extremely important, the photos of your Leica are sub-standard and you're going to get a far lower price if you sell auction style, with the added risk of getting another non-paying bidder.

I regard people who get cheated on eBay more as a real life, online exhibition of Darwinism.

Anyway, eBay has made itself fairly idiot-proof, for buyers. Unless you are foolish enough to pay by wire transfer, Western Union or cash, there is almost nothing to worry about. For naive sellers, eBay is a danger snake pit.

Yes of course you would have a full time job, but it also doesn't hurt to post them on the forum - if it stops a single person in the community from bidding on a fraudulent item, then it is worthwhile.

Google is amazing, I have translated a Hex into a digital. BLIMEY OVER 31,000 photos in 4 years. And with my M I have shot almost 20,000 in 6 months??? (which is not true as I have only physically shot about 3 thousand.)

I think I have done this Exif hex thing all wrong!

Back to watching the dodgy MP on Ebay then.....
