lphong Posted February 6, 2014 Share #1  Posted February 6, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Went to Kiev for a day and had a look at the protest.  M4-2, Elmarit 28 ASPH, Kodak P3200  To save time on downsizing, they are all screenshots from the iPad and further reduced in dimension with TouchUp. Sorry for the appalling image quality. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! pauledell Posted February 6, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted February 6, 2014 Thanks for your fine reportage of the events going on today that is so much in the world's news. Â Paul
Torgian Posted February 6, 2014 Share #7 Â Posted February 6, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Honestly I think the image quality is just fine. People put too much emphasis on the strict image quality of a photo; rather, I like these photos because they are good photos, not necessarily in crispness or sharpness, but their overall composition and feel. Torgian Posted February 6, 2014 Share #8 Â Posted February 6, 2014 I will say that while I like all of them, the one i like the most is the top one. The black and white, grainy photo makes it look good in a strange sort of way. Â I will say that some of them are quite underexposed, at least they seem to be on my screen. There are parts that are too dark with little to no detail of the subject.

Yeah unfortunately I have to significantly pull some of them quite a bit because the film is far too fast... that was entirely my bad to use P3200, left home in a massive hurry. jack.dlux4 Posted February 6, 2014 Share #10  Posted February 6, 2014 I quite agree with others:  keep'em going!  Try to use flash -as required- to "fill the gaps"...  BTW good job, we need shots from the frontline!   JMG

People put too much emphasis on the strict image quality of a photo; rather, I like these photos because they are good photos, not necessarily in crispness or sharpness, but their overall composition and feel.  I agree completely!  ~f   http://www.franksellitto.com
