Guest DrPix Posted January 31, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 31, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just returned from 2 week trip to Lanzarote, the island I love and have visited several times. Here come some pics taken with X Vario (no problems experienced), the camera I am falling in love more and more. Enjoy! Hopefully.. rainer-sw Posted January 31, 2014 Share #3 Posted January 31, 2014 Wondering how you can take these great pics with this bad camera with its slow aperture...... Has nobody told you that it is NOT possible, Rotfl I love mine too. Thanks and greets Rainer
jaapv Posted January 31, 2014 Share #4 Posted January 31, 2014 Why don't you post some in our photoforums?
nippa Posted January 31, 2014 Share #5 Posted January 31, 2014 Thanks for posting those. It reinforces my wish to buy an XV. I've always though it sad that example images can't be posted directly into this sub-Forum to reinforce the conversations about the X series.
wda Posted January 31, 2014 Share #6 Posted January 31, 2014 Thank you DrPix; some excellent studies. Were these JPEG files direct from camera or conversions from Raw?

Guest DrPix Posted February 1, 2014 Share #10 Posted February 1, 2014 Thank you DrPix; some excellent studies. Were these JPEG files direct from camera or conversions from Raw? No. I shoot DNG, develop in Lightroom and process in Photoshop. There´s no way I can get this "quality" directly from camera; maybe nobody can.. wda Posted February 1, 2014 Share #11 Posted February 1, 2014 I am a staunch advocate of capturing files in DNG.
