I have no idea how you stop at the end. I still think the best things about Superbowl are the TV advertisements during the game, and we don't even have to watch the game to see them. On the news last night they showed a reporter trying it, and it was just as Philipp described - He rode on a thick cloth and friction at the end stopped him well before any problems.
