VictoriaC Posted April 24, 2014 Share #41 Posted April 24, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Pico, Love the photo and you say that's Agfa 100... Shot at 100 ISO? Was there a filter? As an aside; I notice that sometimes members don't share great detail when posting photos. If it's a film then I'd love to know the film / ISO setting / filter used, if any. It's helpful if I'm going to start playing with that film and it adds to my appreciation of the photograph too.

pico Posted April 24, 2014 Share #42 Posted April 24, 2014 Pico,Love the photo and you say that's Agfa 100... Shot at 100 ISO? Was there a filter? It's Tri-X, at nominal 400, processed in straight D76. Bright overcast day. No filter. The image is from the original print, but the grain doesn't show on a small monitor image. I no longer develop in straight D76, but here are two others using the same ISO and D76. Rather under-exposed. Printed on fixed grade fiber. I just skimmed the files on my laptop for these. There are very many more I could find with some effort. I'll post links so that anyone browsing this won't have to suffer downloads. http://www.digoliardi.net/dawn_lake001-web.jpg (no filter, but the wrong lens shade) http://www.digoliardi.net/seanwindow.jpg And one processed in boiling Rodinal. Light - one 60 watt bulb in tall ceiling farm kitchen. http://www.digoliardi.net/dawn-n-sean.jpg
Mikeyyah Posted May 12, 2014 Share #43 Posted May 12, 2014 hey guys. I'm developing my film for the first time. I finished a couple of rolls if tri-x at 800 in daylight. Should I be under developing? I'm planning on developing under the suggested tri-x times by Kodak. Any help is appreciated!
