Once more I am overwhelmed by your capabilities! Inspired by your pictures I bought some rolls of Portra lately. Guest redge Posted February 1, 2014 Share #28 Posted February 1, 2014 I was out the same day and had an M 240 with me, but wasn't happy with the amount of snow falling on the camera and had nothing to protect it with. What did you do to protect your camera, or did you decide not to worry about it? Great photos.
janlu Posted February 1, 2014 Share #29 Posted February 1, 2014 Yes , the first one is definitely a great composition .... it has impact , rhythm and the framing is great ...... i like both versions , maybe the colors in this last one , especially on the red , seem to me a bit too strong given the dramatic weather ...... but of course you could have chosen that way for a personal interpretation , and it also works . Btw really a great shot !! Regards, Gianluca
A miller Posted February 1, 2014 Author Share #30 Posted February 1, 2014 I was out the same day and had an M 240 with me, but wasn't happy with the amount of snow falling on the camera and had nothing to protect it with. What did you do to protect your camera, or did you decide not to worry about it? Great photos. Many thanks, Alan, Redge and Gianluca. Redge - I kept my camera around my neck and inside my coat and took it out only to shoot and then tried to keep my hand over the camera and lens as much as possible. I feel that my M3 is a little more weather tolerant than my M9. But then again I was also out in both blizzards that we had last year with my M9 with no problem. wilfredo Posted February 6, 2014 Share #33 Posted February 6, 2014 Excellent series capturing the challenge of moving around the city in bad weather. Me, I'm too lazy to bring the camera out in weather like this. Kudos to you!
