I recently changed my sensor cleaning technique and started to use the DustAid rubber stamp. It works great, but if I understand it correctly, the M240 sensor has very thin cover glass and I am wondering if applying mild pressure, that is necessary for function of the dust cleaning tool can't break the glass.

Does anybody have any info on that?

I too use the eye lead and find it works very well. If I remember rightly some people seem to have had problems with the Dustaid leaving bits stuck to the sensor. there may have been other problems and a search of past threads should give you more info (trying typing 'dust aid' in the forum search window)

If Leica uses them, they are probably safe. What kind of negative experience did you have?

The adhesive from the "Sellotape"got stuck to the stamp and transferred to the sensor. End of sensor.

I too had a bad experience with the Dust-Aid when it separated across the foam layer. I would never use them again. I find the Eyelead good but it can occasionally leave sticky marks.
