Luke_Miller Posted January 1, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 1, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I believe I read it here - Monochrom owners now have a free download of the full Nik Collection from Leica rather than just Silver Efex Pro. The Collection is available even if you have already downloaded Silver Efex Pro. After installation you can download the trial version of the Collection from Google to get the new Analog Efex. The trial will install as a registered version. Just be advised that the Collection installer from Leica will remove all of your Silver Efex Pro custom and imported presets when it installs the collection, so be sure and save them in a secure location before installing. Advertisement Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Hi Luke_Miller, Take a look here Google Nik Collection. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Luke_Miller Posted January 11, 2014 Author Share #2 Posted January 11, 2014 Found all my Silver Efex Pro 2 presets. The Nik Collection creates a different folder structure from the single Silver Efex installation so the Collection version of Silver Efex can't "see" the presets from the previous version. On my Windows 7 system they are here: C:\Users\LHM\AppData\Local\Nik Software\Silver Efex Pro 2\UserPresets I just imported them into the Collection version and all is good
dhoki Posted January 31, 2014 Share #3 Posted January 31, 2014 I purchased Silver Efex Pro 2 from Nik Software in 2012, but didn’t take immediate action when I received an email from Google asking to transfer information about me from Nik in December 2012. The link was no longer active when I heard that previous purchasers could have the Nik Collection free, so I completed an online form asking for the download details and received no reply whatsoever. After seeing this post, I downloaded the trial version - a mere 556.4 MB, and installed it. Not only did my valid Silver Efex Pro 2 became a demo, but was uninstalled with the Nik Collection uninstall. I tried this again after I tracked down and reinstalled ‘SEP2’, just in case a fresh install (which did contact Google) had a more favourable result. No chance. Strangely Color Efex Pro 3.0 Standard StandAlone was left alone in the Nik Software folder (Mac OS X).
chris_tribble Posted February 3, 2014 Share #4 Posted February 3, 2014 How frustrating. I got the Nik collection through the upgrade at an earlier time and have to say it's great!

Just raise a support ticket with Google via Google Nik Collection and provided you have proof of purchase you should get latest full version. That's what I did.
