Thanks Mike. Terrific shots.

It looks like you saw the leopard before she saw you.

Just curious, were you out in the open for these shots? TIA.

KH thanks!

I woke up to a whole commotion of monkey and impala alarm calls and figured there must be a predator nearby that was winding them up. I then saw this leopard moving through the grass and climb up a tree and settle in there. I was in my open game viewing Land Rover which I manoeuvred into place about 6 -8 metres away from the tree.

Hand held with the Vario Elmar 105-280mm.

Best,

Many thanks Mike. An amazing adventure!

The Vario Elmar 105-280mm is certainly up to the task.

One of my favorite lenses as well.

Thanks again.

Hi, we practise our photographic hobby with light-hearted seriousness.

So, this picture is for those who always wanted to know what the back of a robin looks like.

(SONY A7, Leitz Telyt R 4,8/350, JPEG ooc)

Now you know!;)

Have a nice Sunday!

Hi, the old city-wall in "Leica-Town" Wetzlar.

In the background you see the old Leitz/Leica factory. Cameras are made in Solms nowadays.

(SONY A7, Leica Elmarit 2,8/21 ASPH, f8, JPEG ooc, slightly cropped).

Hi, the premises of the Leica Camera AG at Solms on a Sunday. Almost deserted, no manufacturing activity.

Now we know, why delivery is so slow ...;)

After my pictures from my detour to Solms, which is in the middle of nowhere,

a blackbird (SONY A7, Leitz Telyt R 4,8/350, f11, JPEG ooc, crop).

(Presently, I am trying the 2x Leitz Tele-Converter again after some time.

We shall see, how it works... )

Have a nice weekend!
