Thanks for your comment, you are really a man of high calibre in observation power.

 

As a matter of fact, the color of the cherry blossom in the LUF post looks a little pale than how it looks on the spot from human eyes. Because it is the plant of indegenous species in Taiwan, different from other species in the other parts of world.

 

The actual color is something between pink and red, very brilliant.

... and the upper left corner, same setup, first at f2,8 and at f8.

 

The corner softness of the SONY A7 is nothing to worry about, but has to be taken

into account, especially by brickwall-photographers ;) ...

These images were taken last evening, February 1, 2014 a little before sunset with my tripod mounted Leica R 280mm f4 Apo Telyt lens and my Sony A7r camera. Images taken at/from the Trexler Nature Preserve Environmental Center, Schnecksville, PA. Images processed in LR5.3.

Terrific. Did you stay at the Explora? Explora has an even better facility in the Atacama, and one on Easter island which we have not yet visited.

 

Thank you. We stayed in a different hotel but Explora looks nice as well. Unfortunatly we did not have enough time to visit Atacama and Easter Island but there were sooo many other terrific places...
