Albert Andersen Posted December 19, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 19, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi. I have heard a rumor for the reason of FW 2.0.0.12 should be because of changing a component there are more heat resistant (or heat tolerant), so the problem with an unwanted shut down or lock should be solved. If it is true, how will it be solved for cameras sold before the component change?

jaapv Posted December 19, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 19, 2013 It would be nice; in that case my camera would be due for a trip to Solms. However, there is no official word on the matter.
jip Posted December 20, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 20, 2013 Could you please tell us where you heard the rumor?
Albert Andersen Posted December 20, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted December 20, 2013 I have heard it from a serious photographer in Austria. The rumor can not be confirmed, and I brought it up here wondering someone here could bring further information.
earleygallery Posted December 20, 2013 Share #6 Posted December 20, 2013 It's common for any manufacturer to update the internal components of a product during its production run - it doesn't follow that they will 'upgrade' all the products they've already sold though. Rick Posted December 20, 2013 Share #9 Posted December 20, 2013 This is BS. Why would you post something like this? It is irresponsible and it will live on in Google search forever.
