graeme_hutton Posted December 16, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I see references to this as a feature of my Digilux 1 on the web but cannot find it in the menu system. Is it possible to show a date stamp on images shot with the Digilux 1? Thanks, Graeme
Advertisement Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Hi graeme_hutton, Take a look here Digilux 1 - Date Stamp?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted December 17, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 17, 2013 I'm unaware of how to do that on its successor (D2), so I doubt it's available on the D1. You can always check the EXIF data.
earleygallery Posted December 17, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 17, 2013 You can still download a copy of the user manual for the D1 from the Leica website. I have the Panasonic version of the camera but can't recall ever finding such a feature. As Stuart says, it's always recorded on the file info anyway. Another option - if you really need it to show on the image - is to add it manually in post processing.
pop Posted December 17, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 17, 2013 The camera shows a date-/timestamp on its display. The "play" menu contains an option called "clock set". I would have a look at that option.

graeme_hutton Posted December 18, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted December 18, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I should have emphasised 'think'.......I thought it was burried in a DPOF sub-menu but alas no. I've used the M8 instead and 'pictured' the exif data onto the image then PS'd it. Thanks again folks but it seems the Digilux 1 does not support this function.
