Northwest Wanderer Posted November 13, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 13, 2013 Funny one Brent. Judging by your geographical location I wondered about the gator in the title.
pauledell Posted November 14, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 14, 2013 Brent, A wonderful shot with the extraordinary tones, sharpness and composition. The rocks glisten with the ice on them giving a lovely sheen. Paul

stuny Posted November 14, 2013 Share #5 Posted November 14, 2013 Brent - Yes, the Upper Midwest sub species of alligator is by far the most aggressive and devastating predator in the Americas. We're lucky you survived to post this frightening photo.
fotografr Posted November 14, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted November 14, 2013 Thanks everyone. Brent - Yes, the Upper Midwest sub species of alligator is by far the most aggressive and devastating predator in the Americas. We're lucky you survived to post this frightening photo. Actually, I was lucky to get off those rocks without taking a plunge into the icy water. Pretty slippery going. A college kid walked past me while I was shooting this and looked at me like I was out of my mind.
Karl G Posted November 14, 2013 Share #7 Posted November 14, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nicely seen, and deftly executed. As I was looking at the photo, I was thinking exactly what your last comment alluded too. That looks like a hell of a place to be walking around taking pictures. If you plan very many more, consider having the EMS and an Ortho on speed dial.
