farnz Posted July 25, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 25, 2006 Nice shots, Bill, but it looks like you got a problem with your pressure plate that's horizontally scratched both shots at about the same place. My guess is that dirt or dust on the pressure plate has scratched the surface of your emulsion during wind-on and the fix is probably a clean, lint-free cloth and muttering some very bad words ;-) Pete. They said they were having problems with the machine that day. I should of took the film some where else. That is one reason why I like shooting and developing my own black and white film. When I take shots of trains Bill, I like to see them without any obstructions in front of them after all the Train or Locomotive is the subjuct I am trying to capture, like the two Norfolk and Southern units you posted.
