A miller Posted November 5, 2013 Author Share #22 Â Posted November 5, 2013 Thanks, Ken. These are splendid indeed. I particularly love the first picture as well as the others that include cars. Classic! Do you know if this is medium format or 35mm film?

Do you know if this is medium format or 35mm film? Â Good Question, I will try to find out. But we do know one thing, it's Film. Â I have been using Provia 100F for some time now, I must say I love the stuff, however I havn't done much night work or time exposures with it. Â Ken. A miller Posted November 6, 2013 Author Share #24 Â Posted November 6, 2013 I just posted some samples from the Portra 400, in case anyone is interested in comparing. The slide film clearly takes the prize, IMHO. The tungsten light indeed throw the color scheme out of whack. Not totally horrible. But I will give the CineStill film a try and see whether it tackles the tungsten more gracefully. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/street-photography/307498-2013-nyc-halloween-parade-portra-400-a.html
gyoung Posted November 6, 2013 Share #25  Posted November 6, 2013 I must say I am very fond of Provia 100, I was pleasantly surprised when I went on to it from Kodachrome a few years ago. I also liked the Provia 400 which was miles finer grain than Kodachrome 200, but its gone now although I have few rolls in the freezer. I tried having the 400 pushed once to 800 but they were still underexposed, so either it doesn't work or the lab didn't bother to do it right!, I am going to try the fast Portras when the Provia 400 runs out  Gerry
