farnz Posted April 14, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted April 14, 2007 Stephen, Â The grease spots on my LCD are getting to me ... but not enough to wear a nose protector! Â I loved the quote on the attached link: "After three years of searching we finally found this very comfortable (and not too unusual looking) nose protector." Â ... and not too unusual looking... ??? Where does the author live - Clown Town?

farnz Posted April 15, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted April 15, 2007 Pete, do the Marleybone ones have little lions on them? Only the second-rate ones, Rob; the ones which one would wear in the vicinity of one's 'tuyne huyse' would, of course, have to be Royal Blue and adorned with fleur-de-lis. To wear common lions on one's 'guarde-nez' would be risking one's ostracisation and that just wouldn't do! No invitations to Ascot, Wimbledon, polo, the Boat Race - one just couldn't bear the ignomony!
steich Posted April 15, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted April 15, 2007 Some celebreties already have their "nose grease protectors" (obviously made from some old Leica leather cases).
yoMammabot Posted April 15, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted April 15, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) A little Leica red dot at the tip would be a fine addition.
