I have a Rega turntable built locally. The factory was down to 400 units a year and a few employees a while back and now produces them in their thousands with a lot more staff!

They have them even here on the continent on stock. I have bought one just a few months ago.

I've recently gone modern on the music side of things. Lumin A1 network player, Marsh P-2000b pre-amp, A-400s power amp, tuned Xavian XN 360 speakers. Playing all formats, incl. Apple lossless, FLAC etc., CD/SACD rips, HD Tracks hi-res downloads etc. The LP/CD players are sitting idle, collecting dust.

Gentlemen/Ladies. If we keep this up, the thread will have to be split and partly removed to the bar. If members wish to continue this discussion, it would be better to start a new thread in Barnack's Bar.

A recent article in LFI magazine very objectively set out the case for the colour rendition of the M240 being much better than the M9 and showed evidence that the problem lies in the white balance settings of the M240. Hard to deny that if you read the article.

It seems difficult for me to believe that LFI is an objective source of info here--
