flyalf Posted September 27, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 27, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Anyone that have tried to use Micro SD cards through adaptor in M9 or M? The idea is to have the ability to put Micro SD in mobile phone and upload DNGs to cloud for backup while on travel. Dont know if this is a good idea, so all feedback welcome. lucerne Posted September 27, 2013 Share #2 Posted September 27, 2013 I have experienced no problems with a microSD card in its adaptor in my M9, and I also use a card reader connected to my smartphone to transfer files from SD and micro SD for editing and emailing while I'm away. Hope that helps.

lucerne Posted September 27, 2013 Share #4 Posted September 27, 2013 Yes. A Samsung Galaxy s2 android. The reader is just called a smart reader, but it has the correct connector to plug directly into the galaxy. I purchased it from a seller on the AliBaba sales network. There must be more distributors for this product. I'm not in my home country this week so I cannot provide exact contact details. Try searching the internet and I can assist in 7 days time. Gordon. Update. Try this link. It's not my original supplier, but product is the same. http://www.amazon.com/Reader-Mmicro-Samsung-Sony-s-Usb2-0/dp/B00CB7Y57E
jaapv Posted September 27, 2013 Share #5 Posted September 27, 2013 The problem might be that a MSD in adapter is said to be less reliable than a normal SD card.
lucerne Posted September 27, 2013 Share #6 Posted September 27, 2013 The problem might be that a MSD in adapter is said to be less reliable than a normal SD card. Hasn't happened to me but it is possible. If anyone has experienced a problem then help us out! I find the adaptors to be very robust but of course it's the internal connections that are key.
