Advertisement Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Hi biglouis, Take a look here Lift off. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmr Posted July 24, 2006 Share #2 Â Posted July 24, 2006 biglouis, Â very well seen. It's a good shot and it made me smile, thanks.
stuny Posted July 24, 2006 Share #3 Â Posted July 24, 2006 Big - Â You really should be posting more often. I like this for its angle, light, DOF, and feeling of size and power. I also wonder if the architect knew it would look like this from the nearby ground level. I'd be tempted to clone out the bits of other buildings near the top at the edge. I would still keep in the same amount of sky above the building
andybarton Posted July 24, 2006 Share #4 Â Posted July 24, 2006 Alan Tracey, where are you? Â Â Great view of a familiar landmark.
biglouis Posted July 25, 2006 Author Share #5 Â Posted July 25, 2006 Thanks for all the comments. It really does help me progress. Â Andy, LOL. That was my first thought when I "developed" the shot (in Lightbox) but I did not know if anyone else would see the connection if I posted it as "Thunderbirds Are Go!" spylaw4 Posted July 25, 2006 Share #6 Â Posted July 25, 2006 Great shot - well seen! I do however agree about getting rid of the tiny bits of the other buildings.
biglouis Posted July 25, 2006 Author Share #7  Posted July 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) About the extraneous bits. I was hoping they would look like the gantry that moved away before launch on all those old Saturn V moon shots. But I think you are right - they don't work and I'll clone them out.  Thanks for the advice  LouisB
