indication shutter speed for a split second

Wondering if the following "behaviour" of the Monochrom is normal:

While measuring light ( I am NOT in aperture Mode) and changing the shutter speed, I see for a split second digits appearing.

I understand that in "manual" you have an indication of "arrows and dot", but digits ?

They seem to indicate the "correct" shutterspeed so I wonder if this is a way to bring you in the ballpark ?

But still, they appear in a "nervous" way.

Thank you

That is the ISO value

Jaap, no it's not the ISO value. It's indicating shutter speeds.

As I said, in a very nervous, inconsistent way.

Pushing the release button in order to measure light, and right thereafter changing shutter speed results in showing digits for a split second.

So this is not "normal" I understand ?

I do not know if I follow the exact same procedure you did when experiencing this behaviour but I only see the arrows and dot when manually setting and changing the shutter speed.

Stef,

As described, I measure light (push release button halfway) and right thereafter change shutterspeed.

For some reason I see often those digits that appear for a split second.

Thanks
