Peter KW Lee Posted August 16, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just bought a used M-9 from B&H NY and found out that the Date and Time Setting is not working properly - Time and Date not advancing automatically, just stays as set. Any suggestions? I already left a fully charged removable battery in the camera for over 2 days in the hope that would recharge the back-up battery inside camera and still no improvement. M. Valdemar Posted August 17, 2013 Share #6 Posted August 17, 2013 Maybe time isn't advancing. Maybe it's still yesterday. Have you dropped any acid lately?

Daniel Halmer Posted October 27, 2013 Share #8 Posted October 27, 2013 I have the same problem with my used Leica M9-P (upgraded M9). I am wondering if anyone found a solution. Many thanks. Best, Daniel
250swb Posted October 27, 2013 Share #9 Posted October 27, 2013 Unfortunately this is what happens when people can't be bothered to say whether suggestions have worked or not. I would try the obvious, re-load firmware and leave a charged battery in for 60 hours. It doesn't mean you can't use the camera, just don't exhaust the battery and take it out.
