Advertisement Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Hi leica dream, Take a look here Pradovit P300 slide trays. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gyoung Posted August 12, 2013 Share #2 Posted August 12, 2013 I have some spare ones, I had been storing my slides in them but run out of space (I had over 200 in use)! So have been putting the older ones back in the plastic boxes the films are returned in. They are not original Leitz, mostly Jessops own brand, 2x50 in the standard grey cases, Where are you in UK? they would be free for collection from me near Nottingham, a donation to Andreas for running the forum would be good. Send me a PM Gerry
FredR Posted January 29, 2015 Share #3 Posted January 29, 2015 They constantly come up on eBay, which has a subcategory: Cameras & Photo>Film Photography>Slide & Movie Projection>Slide Trays & Carousels Search within that subcategory: "(Leitz,Leica,Rollei,Zeiss,Braun,Agfa) -(carousel,circular,round,rundmagazin,magazin)". Be sure you select 35mm and not medium format trays. There are various capacities up to 50 slides per tray; they usually come two trays to a stackable box. The boxes from the several brands will stack compatibly except for the Leitz boxes with the #@*!! clear plastic sloped tops. Wait for the private sale cast-offs. I just picked up 20 trays for 50 slides each in 10 stackable boxes for $75, shipped. That's $3.25 per tray. Not bad, and I've bought them for less. leica dream Posted January 29, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted January 29, 2015 Thanks for the response, Fred, but since my inquiry was way back in 2013 my need has passed. After very extensive research I decided to go digital. I needed some slides for a talk and found somewhere in the UK where I could get slides from pdf.
