Stealth3kpl Posted August 8, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 8, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Would anyone in the UK consider lending me their much prized and valuable Leica film camera for a few days? I have an imminent wedding and I don't want to lug my Nikons around. Malcolm Taylor returned my M2 recently but the lightleak is still evident. Aaargh! Pretty please. You won't see it on Ebay. Stealth3kpl Posted August 8, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted August 8, 2013 Cumbria. He tells me he's checked all the usual light seals, and has put proofing around the rewind lever. I haven't spoken to him yet but he he certainly won't turn it around in time for me to run a film through prior to the big day. Bother! Pete

Stealth3kpl Posted August 11, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted August 11, 2013 I would like one of those, Well, the little Voigtlander R4A has arrived. It's tiny and feels nice and solid. What a gorgeous little thing. The coat is grippy, it has Auto mode, 1/2000, shutter lock, shutter speeds displayed in the viewfinder, and the viewfinder frame lines are 21/35, 28, 25/50. 21mm viewfinder lines! Goodbye external viewfinder. This little baby may resign one of my M2s to the curio shelf. I'm more excited about this than my M9 Pete

Pete I have heard so many people say similar things wishing they had not sold their M3 , or an SL2. Good you have sorted something out.
