fotografr Posted August 5, 2013 Share #1 Â Posted August 5, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just got my X Vario and the battery is currently charging, so I have not even turned the camera on. I immediately noticed something odd about the memory card slot. In the directions, and in my experience with other digital cameras, the SD card is shown fitting into the camera with the contact pins facing the rear of the camera. Mine will only go in with the pins facing front. I'm curious if this is an issue or if that's the way it should be. Â Thanks!

fotografr Posted August 5, 2013 Author Share #3 Â Posted August 5, 2013 Thanks, Jacques. I guess the photographer who did shots for the instruction manual was confused by it as well.
dhsimmonds Posted August 6, 2013 Share #4 Â Posted August 6, 2013 Does this mean that you are handling the card so as to get it into the slot with your fingers at the terminal end?!!!!!!!
cam2000 Posted August 6, 2013 Share #5 Â Posted August 6, 2013 The contacts are still facing down but it is flip side from what we were use to!
