stuny Posted August 2, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted August 2, 2013 Karl & Paul - Thank you. Neil - Yes, it most certainly is noisy. Looking at the EXIF (1/500, ISO 320) makes it a mystery to me as to why it's so noisy. At least it gave me an opportunity to do retouching on her face. Falstaff Posted August 3, 2013 Share #8 Posted August 3, 2013 There is a seriousness to the face I rather like. Stu, what would this look like in B&W? Falstaff

Lee Martin Posted August 3, 2013 Share #10 Posted August 3, 2013 Has the file been heavily cropped and it's a small part of the original file ?
stuny Posted August 3, 2013 Author Share #11 Posted August 3, 2013 Robert - Thank you. Neil - Thank you. and no, I do not have Dfine. I should look into it. Falstaff - thank you, and yes I did do a conversion, added below. Lee - It's actually only slightly if at all. However, I did mange to underexpose it, and lightening it is what probably made it noisy. Welcome, dear visitor!
