pauledell Posted July 10, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted July 10, 2013 And I can use this to clean the snow off my sidewalk in the winter. This I can use to ride in when I walk the dogs. Well, after figuring out how much all these toys were going to cost, I decided to forget being a farmer and save up for a new Leica MM. Paul Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted July 10, 2013 Share #7 Posted July 10, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Paul - A lovely set, and it's good to know you have a 160 acre front lawn. Years ago a friend bought a townhouse on Washington Square North - He still has it much to the chagrin of NYU which has bought up so much real estate inclduing all of his neighbors' properties. The lawn in front of his home can't be more than one and one half meters square, but he was out using a small power mower on it. I gave him at least five minutes of grief about it. Karl G Posted July 10, 2013 Share #8 Posted July 10, 2013 Paul, lovely pictures of the colorful equipment and I really could use number one to mow our lawn which is huge. What I see, unfortunately, is $$$ having purchased equipment and maintained it.
A miller Posted July 11, 2013 Share #9 Posted July 11, 2013 Hi Paul - amazing pictures. Never thought someone with such a big lawn would be mowing it himself
euston Posted July 11, 2013 Share #10 Posted July 11, 2013 A very attractive series, Paul! I especially like the colours and clarity. And your commentary raised a smile.
pauledell Posted July 12, 2013 Author Share #11 Posted July 12, 2013 JD, Stuart, Karl, Adam and Euston, Thanks for your comical replies. Stuart, sorry but I have a 85'x150' lot. Actually, it would take more time to start the tractor than it would to mow the lawn. I have always mowed my own lawn, but each year, it is getting harder. I may have to hire it out one of these years while I sit on a lawn chair in the shade drinking my lemonade. Paul
