Which DMR firmware version are you using? Version 1.2 is not compatible with some devices and your Jobo may have re-written over some of the data.

THE FIRMWARE IN USE, IS THE ORIGINAL VERSION 1.1 THANK YOU

First, get off your "all caps" it's tantamount to yelling. Second, your problem may still be your Jobo over writing on your card.

SORRY, I LIKE CAPS. HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED VERSION 1.1 AGAIN

STILL NO CHANGE THANKS ANYWAY

I always thought the all caps writing was for those of use who would otherwise not

be able to read the screen. My eyes are 60, but they're a high mileage 60.

The use of all caps is, as Conrad says, considered to be shouting in "netiquette" and is generally frowned upon.

Reading text written in all caps is also extremely difficult, as we often read the shape of words rather than individual letters and letter combinations. This is impossible to do if all caps are used, which therefore makes text less legible. This is one of the reasons why books and magazines and newspapers and all published media don't use all caps. I wouldn't normally read a post in all caps for this reason.

All browsers have the capability to increase font size on the page, should you have difficulty reading the standard size text.

Baraboza -

Andy is right regarding the readability of words in all upper case letters being considerably more difficult to read than standard use of upper and lower case. The first published studies I've read on that date to the late 1940s in the early version of today's Human Factrors Engineers, then just called (in the UK where the initial studies were run), Ergonomics.

In short, regardless of how much you like all upper case the vast majority of your readers will dislike it for readability, "netiquet" or both. So if you want your messages read and understood, business and personal, I highly recommend going with convention and research results.

Now that you have all made your point about nothing. The problem is still there, so lets get some constructive feedback, please

...and you expect people to help with an attitude like that? How singular.

Fantastic - our first troll of the new forum. Far be it from us to waste your time. I'm sure you can think of much more valuable and creative uses for it than we ever could.

Bye.

ok, Gents, calm down please.

Hary, back to your problem...

try to understand: you say you just read the card out in the Jobo, took it out and then placed in the DMR it doesn't work?

Another forum member (who unfortunately does not speak english) also works with a Jobo (not sure with which one), could try to find out whether he has heard about this issue.

Klaus - The DMR is not on the list of supported products for the Giga Vu Pro. Therefore, I believe the device is overwriting on the SD card in an attempt to read the data, thereby changing its structure. I'm only bothering to answer because you intervened on this thread.

Conrad,

thanks for clarification with regard to the Jobo; sometime ago I was also thinking about buying one but I dropped the idea for some other reason.

As I am not a native english speaker I need your help in understanding your last sentence. I mean, I can translate it but I don't get into context...

best - Klaus
