albireo_double Posted May 31, 2015 Share #237 Posted May 31, 2015 No. M240 (sold eventually). Would freeze from time to time when used with EVF, required battery removal/reinsertion. M-P240 Shutter occasionally would not fire immediately when shutter button pressed or require much pressure to fire. Camera purchased in October, problem manifested itself first time in December. Has been away for repair since 9 February, with no indicated completion date so far. Am I mad? Not yet but getting there fast, with my holiday approaching! M246 So far so good even though it has already managed to capture a "black frame" accompanied by a hollow shutter sound, with next frame slightly overexposed. Subsequent frames all fine. Keeping my fingers crossed. I had three different M9s before, at different times... none ever gave me any trouble.

dkmoore Posted June 1, 2015 Share #239 Posted June 1, 2015 Yes. Although the shutter on my 240 stuck open and had to have some components replaced. Only incident in a year. M-P has been flawless so far, knock on wood!
