You might be right that focussing using focus peaking takes longer than shooting several frames with the rangefinder. But then, what do you do with your blurred shots?...

Sorry for my late reply but i thought you were kidding... I don't get blurred shots is with a good rangefinder, as simple as that.

I can assure you, that focussing, whether manual or AF, with both the X-Pro 1 and the X100S is fast. Both in normal and low light conditions. The Fujinon lenses are very capable and the X-Pro 1 body also takes Leica M lenses through an adapter.

 

I love my M9-P and lenses, but the Fuji products are not to be underestimated. The built and quality of both body and lenses are nothing short of very good.

On the 23rd of this month focus peaking arrives in the X-Pro and XE-1. I sold my GXR and M Mount a few weeks after getting my XE-1 and the only thing I missed was that. In 12 days time...
