Michael Hiles Posted June 26, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 26, 2013 As the article says, Erwin Puts has written about Acurol-N in glowing terms. It may be that the developer plus the Rollei film are optimal, but 12 ASA is quite a price to pay if the goal is not mural-sized prints. The results with Ilford Delta 100 look very impressive on SPUR's website, and with an effective 80 ASA (their tests), that looks more practical. I have not seen pictures from Delta 400 and Acurol-N - that would be very interesting.
Fgcm Posted June 28, 2013 Share #3 Posted June 28, 2013 Michael, I use Adox CMS 20 In normal light, ISO 20 or ISO 12 are not a problem at all. At first I was quite skeptic of using such a low ISO film. After i tried some rolls, I got accustomed. More: shooting at 1,4 in sunny Italy, a slow film helps quite a lot. I agree with you about Delta 400 in Acurol. I'm very curious too. Franco
fotohuis Posted July 14, 2013 Share #4 Posted July 14, 2013 Micro film type in high contrast light situations is a bad choice. Better to use a regular type film.
chris_livsey Posted July 15, 2013 Share #5 Posted July 15, 2013 Micro film type in high contrast light situations is a bad choice. Better to use a regular type film. That depends if you want sharpness at all costs, laboratory results, or an actual picture
