Advertisement Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Hi asabet, Take a look here East Baltimore Street Corner. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

stuny Posted April 6, 2007 Share #3 Posted April 6, 2007 Amin - You continue to show us how well you can operate your new baby. You've taken what could have been a most unattractive scene in a troubled old city and produced art. Lovely framing and depth (depth enhanced by the placmeent of the receding fence protecting the highway below), lovely colors and light.
asabet Posted April 6, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted April 6, 2007 Jacques and Stuart, thanks for taking the time to look and for the thoughtful comments. The colors from the D2 are just what I hoped they would be after seeing the great photos taken by others.

psquared Posted April 7, 2007 Share #7 Posted April 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Amin, Lovely composition and mood. The overall picture has a very nice soothing tone, but when you look more closely at the buildings, it brings out the exact opposite thought. Who'd have thunk you could make art in East Baltimore? Sadly, that's the part of the city we all tried to avoid in my 10 years in Baltimore, although I worked in that neighborhood for the last 6 years there. I would love to see more, but please do be careful. Peter
asabet Posted April 8, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted April 8, 2007 Peter, thank you for the kind words, and I will be careful. I work there as well, and certainly the folks who live there don't all like their photo being taken! Nevertheless, there are plenty of interesting sights to capture in East Baltimore.
