All in all: Very impressive new CV lens. Although I can still see purple fringing on the top of the helmet in the CV crop, it seems the new CV 50 has less fringing then the old model? Paul J Posted June 21, 2013 Share #6 Posted June 21, 2013 The CV is focussed a little forward of the Summilux. You can see it on the painted thread of the body of the figure. Also the nose is a little sharper on the CV shot compared to the Summilux. These are impressive though thanks so much for posting them. Some prefer the more traditional rendering bokeh of the CV. That Summilux looks incredible for it's definition and correction. In this case, personally I would go for the Summilux, though, I just 'd at the price of the CV. Amazing results for the price. Picture 1 & 2 show the CV's PF wide open is better controlled in the new version of the lens, but it's still not entirely gone, as it is in the Summilux.
