How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

500kB is fine, as long as none of the sides are more than 1280px. Besides, many members will not be able to see all of a picture at the same time if it's taller than - say - 800px. My remark referred to a picture which is now invisible to you because I had to remove it.

Since getting the X Vario I've been using it for some product shoots, only stuff we make though (my wife & I have a small furniture business). Here's one of a sidetable we did. I can recommend the two books as well.

And here's another one. There was a lot of mixed lighting in this indoor shot but the X Vario handles WB pretty well. Since I don't own any external lighting equipment or reflectors etc I make do with ISO100 and a tripod for the long exposures that these sometimes require.
