How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

This is a snap from the car this morning on Drayton Harbor Road in Washington, looking toward Girabaldi Mountain east of Vancouver,  B.C.  Lots of Canada Geese here.

Mikozia,  this is possibly one of the most beautiful Autumn pictures I have seen this year. It deserves to be seen in the the Landscape forum, mentioning with help from the X Vario.

I love it's simplicity and symbolism; colour and contrast. It's self-containment. 

It would also be lovely as a piece of wall art at home or in public places. Well done!

In Spokane, Washington for the past 24 hours on business, I had the opportunity to walk a bit by the river (I always enjoy that when I am here). The moon was rising at sunset.

And then a late night walk from my hotel downtown.Very few people are about at this late hour on a Monday evening but the lights are fun and I managed a 1/6th second exposure here with help from a street sign! It's been a  long day and I realize that I forgot to reset ISO beyond 400.
