Dunk, this brings back memories. I remember staying there for a night in the 1960s. It doesn't appear to have changed with the passage of time.

Is PS Elements now your editing software of choice?

David, I recently upgraded from a 2009 to a 2014 iMac and 64 bit Mac OS Catalina which is not compatible with Lightroom 6 ... thus decided to abandon Lightroom (because of annual subscription) and use PS Elements 2020 (64 bit compatible) ... but have also bought AFFINITY ... which plan to use as main image processing software when more proficient. Catalina will  be replaced by OS 11.0 Big Sur in the autumn.

I haven't quite reached this point yet, Dunk, but have you considered Alien Skin Exposure which, I believe can read LR catalogues. They offer a free trial to prove whether it suits your way of working and they have a good supply of instructional videos. It is on my contingency short list.

David, I'm not familiar with Alien Skin Exposure but will investigate .. Committed to learning AFFINITY especially as so many photographers have switched after abandoning Adobe packages.

Numbers 62 and 63 Hight Street St Martins, Stamford, Lincs., UK ... 80m up the hill from The George Hotel. The two houses allegedly date from 1869 but they look older ... Lincolnshire limestone ages. The worn steps could likely tell a few tales. Most of the street's buildings' drainpipes discharge straight into the pavement gutters.

House No. 5 St Mary's Hill Stamford Lincs ... 17th C ... note 1658 date plaque upper RHS.

Chameleon lingerie shop wares on display.

I wonder what Lord Protector Oliver Cromwell might have thought about this display in 1658?

Perhaps he might have said, "You should have used a b.....  polariser!!"
