A miller Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19822 Posted August 14, 2016 Gonnaattachthemthen? Gary sorry, Gary. This is a multi-step process to get all of this live. I just finished the first bit. I'll post a few more examples as well...
gbealnz Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19823 Posted August 14, 2016 No worries Adam, my usual Sunday night warped sense of humour, or lack thereof. Good to see you saw reason and got the processing done. Looks good. Gary
wattsy Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19824 Posted August 14, 2016 I've been largely away from the forum for a few weeks but it's good to see the thread still chugging along. Part of the Grey's Court (NT) estate near Henley-on-Thames. Wrong part of the country but the scene had a bit of a Constable vibe about it.

chrism Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19826 Posted August 14, 2016 Myneighbour asked me to take photos of her new house before it is renovated. Built in the 1860's, it belonged to a local ship builder, but has stood empty and unheated for the last fifty years. Amazingly, it is in fair condition. 645n, XP2, HC-110, X1 scans: Campbell House 4 by chrism229, on Flickr Campbell House 3 by chrism229, on Flickr Campbell House 2 by chrism229, on Flickr Chris

EoinC Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19830 Posted August 14, 2016 LOL, was showing these pics to my wife, and discussing your ventures through Cirque Terre, and saw the name on the transom of one of the yachts moored, "Aotearoa". How's that. Gary That's why I included it for you, Gary - Rugged individual that you are...

Doc Henry Posted August 14, 2016 Author Share #19832 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) "I have learned a lot about the relative exposure needed to correctly expose prove 100F and velvia 50. It aint a simple matter of increasing the exposure by one stop for velvia 50 vs the provia. The velvia needs quite a bit more light, whereas the provia is pretty true to the incident meter reading, at least for evenly lit scenes." Adam I agree Fuji Velvia needs sunny light , it's better and the color is wonderful , no comparison with other digital system. Deep color and faithfully reproduced. For Provia , it's easier less demandaing but have also nice color result. For your iPad, do you know Photos Google ? EoinC Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19833 Posted August 14, 2016 Thanks Eoin I post also your two last pictures for comparison and tell me that's as you saw when you took these pictures 28669008320_213corrlr37aebce_bis-2CorrLR-900.jpg The yellow color of the letter box (picture 2) is clearer and also the yellow on the large billboard above the entrance to the "metropolitan" subway, you agree ? 28335777714_35c92e5eae_b-2 corrLR-900.jpg Very nice shots and also great memories for me la Gare du Nord. Its reminds me some songs of Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel the french singers Best H. Thanks, Henry. It is definitely better without the excessive blue. These shots were scanned by a shop (part of the processing), so I'll re-scan the negatives when I pick them up.

Velvia and Provia are both fantastic films. Each has its own strengths and i think that Provia is the perfect film in a wider range of situations. Stealth3kpl Posted August 14, 2016 Share #19839 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) Not so hot in Cumbria, Henry. More like this: Kowa Six, Portra 160 NC, 80mm/2.8 Plustek 120, Vuescan Interestingly, My Leica M-P can't seem to tell the difference between the colour if the bag that's being sat on and the hat with either Capture Pro One or Lightroom.
